High-volume thermoset production capabilities in the United States and Mexico
Modern, international production of classic materials
The oldest form of plastics, thermosets today provide efficient solutions to high-heat, high-impact structural parts. Parkway has been molding thermoset resins in various forms for over 40 years, and has both dedicated aerospace production facilities and low-cost, high-volume capabilities.
Thermosetting polymers cross-link when cured via heat, producing a strong, durable product that is chemically different from its raw state. Typically, thermoset polymers are priced competitively with commodity thermoplastics and can produce more complex designs, perform well against fire and electrical current, are relatively lightweight and make an excellent choice as metal-replacement candidates.
