Company History
Parkway Products was founded in 1946 in Cincinnati, OH as a custom wood and fabric parts manufacturing company. Over time, Parkway grew from a single facility manufacturer to one of North Americas premier molding corporations.
 
1946
Founded in Cincinnati, OH by Edward Willig as Parkway Patterns
1957
Fully adopted plastic molding as a core offering and changed name to Parkway Patterns and Plastics
1964
Incorporated, officially changing name to Parkway Products
1972
Moved from founding location to a dedicated plastics facility in Cincinnati, OH
1986
Opened second location, a dedicated aerospace production facility in Erlanger, KY
1991
Acquired aerospace products business from Lord & Company
1995
Aquired thermoset molding business from Mold Rite Plastics
1996
Acquired injection molded thermoplastics & tooling business from Industrial Tooling Services, Inc. and relocated to Loveland, CO
1997
Acquired injection molded thermoplastics business from Dynacast, Inc. in Seneca, SC
2000
Acquired tooling business from JIT Tool, Inc. in Lee's Summit, MO
2001
Opened aerospace production facility in Saltillo, Mexico

Acquired process license for Magnesium Thixomolding© for Loveland, CO

Opened molding & assembly facility Saltillo, Mexico
2004
Acquired high performance injection molded thermoplastics business from Solvay Advanced Polymers, LLC. in Atlanta, GA
2006
Management-led buyout of Willig family with Oxford Financial Group

Expansion of Saltillo, Mexico molding and assembly facility to include compression, injection and transfer molded thermoset production
2008
Creation of Saltillo, Mexico aerospace production campus, consisting of separate, dedicated engine components and airframe production facilities.
