Parkway Products acquires majority stake in former Nypro facility

Florence, KY - November 12, 2009:
Parkway Products Inc. and Nypro Inc. announced today Parkway’s acquisition of a majority stake in Nypro’s injection molding and painting/laser etching business in Marietta, Georgia. The Marietta-based operation consists of two adjacent facilities, which will be marketed and operated by Parkway’s Enterprise Molded Products business unit. Nypro will retain a minority stake in the business.
“We are excited to add paint/laser etch product technology and a strong, customer-focused Marietta operating team to Parkway.” said Al Ridilla, Vice President of Parkway EMP. “This acquisition will benefit Marietta customers, provide new options to current Parkway clients and continues our expansion in the transportation market segment.”
The Marietta operation will continue to produce both functional injection molded components and backlit components created through the paint & laser etching process for the automotive industry. Both Marietta facilities are ISO 9001and TS16949 certified. Parkway EMP currently provides a range of molded components to the automotive, medical, building systems, electronics and industrial markets.
