MATERIAL INFORMATION & ADVANTAGES

XENOY® resins are thermoplastic alloy blends of Polycarbonate (PC) and Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT).  XENOY® resins offer good chemical resistance, excellent impact resistance at low and high temperatures, heat resistance, and great aesthetics and flow characteristics.  It also offers very good UV resistance, color retention, dimension stability and mechanical strength.  In terms of cost efficiency, XENOY® produces higher productivity and improved yields ranging from thin walled applications to robust Material Handling Pallets.

ADVANTAGES TO XENOY:
Weatherability
UV Stability
Color Retention
Lubricity
Low Temperature Impact
Melt Flow Capabilities
High Chemical Resistance
High Modulus
Heat Resistance RTI up to 284° F (140° C)
Good balance of Chemical & Mechanical Properties

APPLICATIONS:
Having attractive features such as dependable thin wall strength, dimensional stability, chemical resistance, high impact strength and thermal properties make XENOY® resins offer the perfect balance of performance characteristics for a wide range of applications. Such as:

Material Handling Pallets
Automotive Bumpers
Large Structural Parts
Business Equipment Housings
Outdoor Components
Cellular Phones
Tractor  Hoods & Panels

PHYSICAL & MECANICAL PROPERTIES

XENOY® was developed to provide chemical resistance, as well as a high level of impact strength at temperatures down to –40°F (-40°C).  XENOY®  provides low and high temperature durability. Therefore, XENOY® offers the best combination of impact strength and chemical resistance with dimensional stability
