Greenville, SC - April 24, 2018 - Parkway Products, LLC, one of the leading North American Plastic and Specialty Materials Molding Manufacturers has announced that its Corporate Headquarters is being relocated from Florence, Kentucky to Greenville, South Carolina effective April 30, 2018. The Company's corporate office has been housed in its former building about fifteen minutes south of Cincinnati, Ohio since 1998.
Parkway was founded in 1946 in Cincinnati, Ohio by the Willig Family as Parkway Patterns. The company grew into a multi-facility Aerospace and Specialty Materials Molding business with several locations in the Greater Cincinnati area by the turn of the century. Over the next decade, Parkway would see significant growth in both its Aerospace Division and a newer Enterprise Molded Products (EMP) Division.
The Company divested of the Aerospace Division in 2013, while the EMP Division (now Parkway) grew into a $120M+ Plastic and Specialty Materials Molding business operating from facilities in Colorado (2), Mexico (1), Georgia (3), South Carolina (1), and Tennessee (1). Parkway serves a diversified customer base and offers five (5) custom molding technologies, including Thermoplastic Injection Molding, High Performance Polymer Molding, Magnesium Thixomolding, Thermoset Compression & Injection Molding, and Paint & Laser Etching decorative capabilities.
In 2017, following the acquisition of LMR Plastics in Greeneville, Tennessee, it became evident that the Company needed to act on a strategy to better utilize its corporate resources. Executive Management announced to employees in early 2018 that it would be relocating the office to South Carolina with a target date of April 30, 2018.
